Bio Brick AQUA OCEAN is an ultra-porous medium ideal for hosting thousands of beneficial bacteria for the aquarium, maintaining excellent water quality. This filtering medium is made with thousands of ceramic microspheres that have been compacted and then heated to over 1800°C, causing the material to expand and its structures to break, creating a highly porous space, ideal for the colonization of millions of nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria responsible for eliminating toxic nitrogen compounds from the aquarium.
