Temperature compensating refractometer with LED illuminated scale for determining salinity

The  refractometer  is a precision optical instrument used to determine the salt concentration in saltwater aquariums. Its exact value can be determined in seconds and can be read as absolute salt concentration (‰, ppt) or as specific gravity. When a ray of light enters the refractometer, the water on the test panel bends or "refracts" it. This refraction is proportional to the salinity of the sample and can be read directly by looking at the internal scale. The LED lighting integrated   provides good readability even in low light conditions.
