Strontium is incorporated into the skeleton of hard corals. Its physiological significance is not yet fully understood. However, there is evidence of the involvement of strontium in developmental biology.

Strontium is significantly consumed in the aquarium. Therefore, the concentration of strontium should be periodically monitored in the laboratory. Targeted supplementation works best with our ultra-pure strontium supplement. For permanent care, we recommend our ATI Essentials.

10 ml of the supplement increase the strontium concentration of 100 liters by 1 mg/l.
